B & B in Gargrave, Skipton

River cottage is a 200 year old stone cottage fully renovated and extended offering all modern conveniences, yet retaining all its olde world charm and character with open fires and oak beams.

Perfectly situated in the centre of Gargrave Village with views over the village green to front and river Aire at the rear, yet within easy walking distance of all amenities.

On arrival all guests are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, where we are happy to offer any information you may require regarding places to visit or eat.

There are 3 letting rooms all of which are beautifully furnished and offer very comfortable beds, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and fresh fluffy towels.

Bedroom One

The Family/Twin room is very spacious and contains 1 double bed, 1 single bed, ensuite shower room (very large shower), ample wardrobe and drawer space with dual aspect views over the river and village green.

Bedroom Two

The Blue room/Double room is again very spacious and contains 1 double bed, ensuite shower room (very large shower), settee, ample wardrobe and drawer space with dual aspect views over the river and village green.

Bedroom Three

The Twin room is a small room containing 2 single beds, a wash basin and w.c, hanging space for overnight clothes, drawers with a combined view over the village green and river. Ideal for a one night stay, to combine with one of the other rooms for family or friends or for those on a limited budget.

Please note we do not have single rooms, but all rooms are available at a special single occupancy rate. We also offer discounts for 2 or more night stays or a room only basis.
